1. One module, two modes
Reservations keeps one module and contractual identity. Behavior changes according to the plan and enabled functionality.
2. Basic — WhatsApp request
The guest provides name, phone/WhatsApp, date, time, party size and comments. ez Connect prepares or transmits the request to the establishment’s WhatsApp channel.
There is no real-time table inventory or capacity engine. Sending the request does not guarantee a table or create a confirmed booking. Confirmation occurs when the establishment expressly accepts it.
3. Advanced+ — availability and tables
When Smart Reservations is enabled, the establishment configures hours, blocked dates, duration, capacity, tables/areas, party sizes and acceptance rules.
The system may return CONFIRMED, REJECTED or PENDING according to those rules and availability.
4. WhatsApp in Advanced
A WhatsApp notice may still be sent for convenience. WhatsApp is a third party and delivery is not guaranteed. The canonical status is the status recorded by ez Connect unless the establishment later communicates an authorized change.
5. Establishment responsibility
The establishment must keep hours, inventory, closures, legal/operational capacity and rules accurate. ez Connect does not certify fire-code capacity, permits, physical safety or real availability when configuration is outdated.
6. Data and comments
Do not place sensitive information in free-text comments. Data is used to process the booking, security and support under the Privacy Notice and applicable data-processing terms.
7. Cancellation and no-shows
Venue-specific cancellation, tolerance, deposit or no-show conditions must be disclosed before they create an obligation.
8. Concurrency
Displayed availability may change during simultaneous requests. If an operational conflict occurs, the establishment must inform the guest and respect applicable rights.
